Honey Mustard Salad Dressing

I have a tangy post for you this week!  I’m a very lucky woman to have a husband who also likes to tinker in the kitchen.  He comes up with some amazing things.

This week we enjoyed a delicious baby spinach & kale salad with toasted almonds, and slices of egg.  So simple. But what made it over the top brilliant was the freaking awesome salad dressing he made!

He likes to make things from the top of his head, and then I have to ask what he did. Usually, the answer is “add stuff”.  Luckily, this time he remembered and now I can share it all with you!!

So here it is, a tangy salad dressing that puts the store bought to shame… seriously… stop wasting money on store bought chemicals!

Honey Mustard Salad Dressing

  • 12 Tbls Grape Seed Oil
  • 1/2 Tsp Sea Salt (or to taste)
  • 1/2 Tsp Ground Pepper (or to taste)
  • 1 Tsp Garlic Powder (or to taste)
  • 4 Tbls Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 4 Tbls Honey (and/or Agave Nectar)
  • 4 Tbls Mustard

Place all ingredients in a small jar with a lid that seals tight. Use a small whisk and mix it up.  When ready to use, shake, and drizzle over greens.

This will last a few days in the fridge.  We even used the left overs to add extra zip to our homemade pannis!  Fantastic!
